A reference for Shroom and Gloom, the first-person roguelike where you build a combat deck and an explore deck at once. Every number here is read out of the game build itself and rebuilt whenever the game updates: 976 cards, 76 enemies, 7 characters. How rewards work covers where cards come from, with the exact odds at every depth.
Shroom and Gloom is a first-person roguelike from Team Lazerbeam and Devolver Digital in which you descend through mushroom caves building two decks at once: one you fight with, one you spend on exploring. This wiki holds the data behind that — 976 published cards across 16 classes and 61 themes, 7 playable characters, 76 enemies, 124 reward pools, 31 foresight cards and 116 keywords, each with its own page.
None of it is typed up from play. Every page is generated from the shipped build, so a card's energy cost, its rules text, the pools that can offer it and the paths that never will come out of the same files the game reads. The build id in the footer names the exact download the current pages were made from, so you can tell whether you are reading your version.
Finding a card
The search box in the header finds any card by name, in English or Chinese, from anywhere on the site. The card index is two indexes rather than one long list: by class, which is what a card does in a fight, and by theme, which is the family the developers built it in. Both carry filters for cost, deck and tier, and the filters only appear once the page's script has run, so the full list is there either way.
Both languages ship inside the same document, so a page has one address to share whatever language the person opening it reads. The EN and 中文 buttons switch between them with no reload, and the choice is remembered.
What a card page tells you
A card page carries the rules text rebuilt from the game's own templates, the energy cost, the deck it belongs to, the triggers and properties on it, and any cap on copies. Under that it answers where the card comes from: the reward pools that can offer it, the paths excluded from offering it, the card you must already hold before it appears, and the card that stops it appearing at all. Where a card upgrades into another the tree is drawn out; 55 cards take part in one.
Where to start
If you have not played, open Characters first: it puts the 7 of them side by side with the health, energy and starting decks each begins a run with. How rewards work explains where cards come from and prints the exact chance of a common, uncommon or rare reward at every depth — rare cards cannot appear before depth 10, so going deeper is the only way to raise the tier. The glossary defines the 116 words the cards are written in, which is the quickest way to stop misreading a card mid-fight.
Accuracy, and what is left out
This is a fan reference and it says where it is unsure. Card text is regenerated rather than copied, because the description the game caches on each card is stale. Enemy names are the developers' asset names, since this build does not localise them, and where the game's own Chinese is missing a page falls back to English rather than invent a translation. Cards the build marks as testing or unfinished are not published. Shroom and Gloom is in Early Access, so anything here can change with the next patch; About the data lists every omission and the reason for it.
